Have product photos randomly disappearing from our site and won’t go back on.
Shopify using Xtra theme, photos stored on flickr. Product info and photo url’s pushed from Netsuite via Celigo integrator.
Tried bypassing Netsuite/Celigo and adding url in Shopify back end, photo is visable for a split second and then disappears and get error Media Upload failed - • Image: Media Processing Failed
If the images are briefly appearing and then disappearing, it could be an issue with how Shopify processes the URLs from Flickr.
A few things to check—make sure the images are publicly accessible, as some hosting services have restrictions that might block Shopify from pulling them in. Also, if Flickr uses temporary or expiring URLs, that could explain why the images won’t stick.
Since you’ve already tried adding the URL directly in Shopify and still got an error, it might not be a NetSuite or Celigo issue. You could try uploading an image manually to Shopify instead of linking from Flickr to see if that works. If it does, the issue is likely with how the URLs are being handled.
