I am hoping this is an option and I’m just too dumb with this to have already thought of it.
I am looking to offer two pre order rounds on a custom made product. First 50 of said product would be at 15 business days, next 50, 30 business days. It cannot alter or share the inventory tracking within the store’s provided, as I have sizes and color options as well. I have asked in Shopify chat a few different times and its been pushed to the higher ups, however no answer to this problem, yet. I. did download an app, called “Product Options Variant Option” and that did make the dropdown/ boxes for the pre- orders- tracked inventory it was fantastic. However after my product launch and 200 orders, I was not able to pull that in reports, in orders by searching to add a tag, or even export as a CSV. so while it helped my customers, was a nice streamlined shopping experience, I was left going through those orders one by one and hand writing how many, what size etc per round- per product. I am hoping to avoid this, for obvious reasons. I feel like there must be an easy solution- one I have not found. Thank you in advance for your help!

Sounds like you were able to manage the sales process and inventory via the “Product Options” app, which is great. What you seem to be missing is the ability to report properly on the orders that were placed.
I would suggest trying our Report Toaster app. I obviously don’t know all of your requirements, but our app allows you to customize reporting on all of your Shopify data by adding/removing columns, filtering, sorting, exporting and even scheduling. If the front-end of your store is working - to show the bundle, then what you need is something on the operations side to ‘kit’ the bundle for you, so that it can be fulfilled.
Using an app such as SKUSavvy will pull in the order information, and help you create these bundles according to the orders that have come in. SKUSavvy will enable you to store products around your space, and track each inventory quantity in all of your bins.
During fulfillment, SKUSavvy will visually show you where exactly the product is and how many to pick, then it will provide the packaging information, validate the address, fetch shipping labels, purchase, print, and track the shipment.
