Seeking for help- I have approx 50 products with variants (each one have same variants) and I need to track only the product quantity, not the variants.
Is there any chance to solve it?
Imho this as very basic request, so I hope Shopify have some solution. I’m desperate

My request is to be able to monitor stock only for the main product (seal). Those handles (variants) are still in stock, whereas the sealer has a limited number of its own.
Otherwise, each option costs a different amount.
The only sufficient solution so far is offered by the Avis application or by coding. But I just don’t want to go to the application, it’s the last option and the coding is difficult, I can’t do it myself.

Here is another thread where more people are dealing with it. Obviously, there is no simple solution
yes, the solution is not simple but we can create a custom to accomplish the same.
please refer to the below post of my client we did solve a similar issue.
The solution was made for him.
