Product variant pricing won't dynamically update when customer makes selection from product options

I’m really stuck at trying to resolve my issue. I’m using the Debut theme and previously everything worked normally however, it was brough to my attention that within the product page of all products where there are variant options and differing prices that none of these selections are adjusting correctly. However if I press f5 and refresh the page then it displays correctly. An example is on the link below;

Canova-L Sofa – KarlsFurniture.ie

select a size option and or a leather cover option and price does not update. Press F5 and it then update. Help to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Well as you say in your posts it does work well in the backend things are updating as they should but just needs a refresh to replace the updated content from the result of the ajax request.

Will need some code editing and modification.

Hi @Mojam

I recommend trying Easify Product Options for your product page issue. It’s user-friendly and offers a seamless way to manage variant options and pricing without needing custom code fixes. Easify ensures your prices update dynamically as customers select variants, avoiding glitches like the one you’re experiencing

  • This is the result

  • This is the app setting

To update the price based on the add-on price, you just need to enable the Added Option Prices To Main Product Price on Product page in the Easify’s Settings

I hope this answer helps you solve the problem. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to Easify anytime! :blush:

Hi @Mojam what resolution did you do as i can see that the product is dynamically changing already. Appreciate your feedback! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @KarlosPena , @Mojam was using an older version of debut theme before. I managed to come up with a solution for it, it wasn’t the best of solutions though.

So on the variant I was reloading the page to update the data, so user didn’t have to do it on their own.

@Mojam now is using a shopify paid theme wonder, which does have the dynamic updation integrated
