Products added to cart disappear from related and complimentary

Hello!

For some reason, I’ve noticed that if I add Second and Third products to the shopping cart, they don’t appear in “You may also like” (related products) or “Shop this Look” (complimentary products) sections. Once I delete them from the cart, they do show up again.

To check it. Just add Second and Third product to the cart and go back to the First product and refresh the page. Then remove the products from the cart and refresh the First product page again.

Related and complimentary sections are created automatically by the Shopify Search & Discovery app. Is that a known issue/feature or am I doing something wrong here?

Hey there! Thank you for the link to your store. I understand you want to make sure that the “shop the look” products 1/2/3 are being displayed properly to your customers. It is expected behavior that the items, once added to the cart, no longer display under the “shop the look” heading. I definitely understand the value of continuing to show those items though on your product page so that customers can comfortably go back to the other items to review them if they like.

I’ll be happy to share that feedback with our developers for further consideration!
