"Products and Pricing" Missing from Markets after Update?

It seems that Settings > Markets has gotten a facelift, and now I can’t find where to set market specific product details. I need to change the fixed price on a product. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks.

Hello @furl

You’re right—Shopify recently updated the Markets section, and many users are noticing that the “Products and pricing” tab or section is no longer where it used to be. Here’s how you can now manage market-specific pricing (like fixed prices for different countries or regions):

Updated Steps to Set Market-Specific Prices:

  1. Go to: Settings > Markets

  2. Select the market you want to manage (e.g., United States, Europe, etc.)

  3. Scroll down to the “Products” section within that market.

  4. Click Manage or Edit product availability and pricing (the wording may vary).

  5. You’ll now be taken to a screen where you can:

. Choose which products are available in that market

. Set fixed prices per product for that specific market

Shopify moved this functionality deeper under each individual market, instead of having a central “Products and pricing” section.

If You’re Using Shopify Markets Pro
If you’re using Markets Pro, pricing options may be managed differently or limited to currency conversions and duties/taxes.

Thank you

I don’t see any “Pricing” section since the update. Do you still see the old version?

I also don’t see any “Manage Markets” link under Products.

There seems to be a new concept of “catalogs”, but I don’t see anywhere to access these, and if I search for “catalog” there are some results but they go to a 404 page.

These instructions don’t seem to match the screen I am seeing. The only mention of products is under a “Catalogs” section, and there is no editing available.

Yes, unfortunately the issue is that the functionality no longer exists for users on the Basic plan. My fixed prices were still being displayed on my storefront, but I couldn’t view or edit them anywhere in the admin. I ended up deleting my two markets with the fixed pricing and creating them again.

I contacted Shopify support about the missing functionality and they said this:

“It appears that this option is now exclusively available to plans that are on the Grow plan and above, which means it is no longer accessible to users on the Basic plan. I understand how this change may affect your experience, and I have already raised this concern with our team for further consideration.”

I’m pretty shocked that Shopify just hid functionality that was already in use by users who have existing market customizations. I think the right thing to do was to grandfather in existing Basic users, or at the very least tell us which features were going to be removed at a future date. It would have saved me a lot of time trying to figure out what was going on. Shopify support didn’t even know what the problem was when I first contacted them, and they are still advertising “product pricing by market” as a feature under their Basic plan. I really thought it was going to turn out to be a bug with the new release.

I’m lucky since my setup is pretty basic at the moment and it turns out I don’t really need any of the market pricing customisation, but I see others are not so lucky: https://community.shopify.com/c/managed-markets/markets-upcoming-changes/td-p/3031971

Thanks for your help as I tried to get to the bottom of this.

For some reason you are missing the edit region catalogue pencil icon like the below which is where the products and pricing is configured.

I wonder if it is because since the change that you have more set up than your plan allows maybe?

The previous comment’s described steps are where this is located in the old version of Shopify Markets.

Just found this out on my own store…ugh pretty ridiculous.

Actually - I just discovered this does exist on basic plan users. You have to click “Markets–>Catalogs” on the left menu bar. Then you can modify prices as before. Really bad UI
