I have products that are sold out, but on the website, these items can still be added to cart and no “sold out” badge is showing. I already did the following:
I already set the inventory to “0” for these products
I already unchecked the “continue selling” option for each variant of that product.
Can anyone advise?
What theme are you using? Did someone write some code on top of it?
Some themes have their own settings for displaying sold-out products. Make sure to review the settings of your theme and ensure that it is configured to display a “sold out” badge or prevent the addition of sold-out items to the cart.
In case the issue remains unresolved, you can consider using temporary solutions such as utilizing a pre-order app to automatically replace the ‘Add to Cart’ button with a ‘Pre-Order’ button and using a product badges app to add ‘Sold Out’ badges when those items are out of stock.
