We seem to have a problem with products being assigned to the wrong location for fulfilment after a sale. Even though we set the quantity at this location to zero and have it available at other locations, Shopify will still assign the sale to the first location (on the order info page), even if it means the quantity dropping to -1. It’s completely ignoring available stock at other locations. I have to remove this location from the product page for Shopify to start recognising there are other sources for it to be fulfiled from.
All products are set to stop selling when the quantity reaches zero and I’ve set up the priorities correctly in the Location options. We’re using the Stock-Sync and Product Inventory Information apps if that’s relevant. Any ideas?
I am having this same issue with two of my stores. One store the product is not even listed at the location it pulled from. I have zero products listed at this location. However now there is one product with a -1 listed at this location. This product has several in stock at it’s correct location so there is no reason for it to have been essentially added to the wrong location and then fulfilled from it?
