Products not appearing in Google & Youtube app

Hi experts.

I have been using the Google & Youtube app for some time without any issues. However I have recently added 2 new products and neither will appear in the app. The first product is has 2 variants - I have set these up with individual SKU’s, images, and weights and ensured that they are set to publish on the Google & Youtube sales channel. The second item is a straight forward basic item - everything is set up like any other product on our site yet it will not appear in the app. I have reach out to Google support several times but have not received a response.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

please note that the app is as such buggy. and getting support from the google team will also be difficult.

remove it (disconnect it) once and then add it again to your store. the issue should mostly resolve.

also, as you would be using this app to publish products on Merchant Center, i would say go with some other data feed solution.

@Nick_S2 … it’s very common Problem, if you done all things from your end, then wait atleast for 3-4 days, because recently Google change the product approval process..

"But Once you can review the Google app and merchant setting properly, most of the time have issues.

  • configuration setting
  • Will take 3-4 day to approve the product
  • Specially the country setting enable option

Still have Problme, feel free text here..

The google and youtube app is a bit of a broken mess, for many years. My recommendation is to uninstall and re-install the app. That usually works.

Alternatively use a different data feed app.

Thanks Everyone - decided to change apps. Went with Simprosys Google Shopping Feed

So far so good.

yes.. You can try it, because Google also recommends the Simprosys Google Shopping Feed app for Google Merchant Center - Feed setup
