Products showing "Sold Out" even when inventory is available

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with products showing “Sold Out” on my Shopify store, even though inventory is available.

Things I’ve already checked:

Inventory is tracked
Stock quantity is greater than 0
Product status is Active
Sales channels are enabled
Despite this, the product still appears as sold out on the storefront.

Is anyone else also experiencing this issue?
If yes, please share what caused it in your store and how you fixed it.

What could be the possible reasons?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Hope this will help

Products can show “Sold Out” despite having stock due to:

  • Variant level inventory set to 0
  • Inventory assigned to wrong location
  • Theme or custom code overriding availability
  • App conflicts
  • Cached storefront data
  • Availability settings toggled incorrectly

@Jamesnorah did you add any external code or app or any tag? please check customize settings as well to find what condition is used to show the tag

@Jamesnorah ,

Fast Debugging Checklist (Do This in Order)

  2. Check inventory location
  3. Check default variant
  4. Disable apps temporarily
  5. Test in incognito
  6. Check collection rules
