You can still sell your products via Agentic storefronts if you use a third-party app for more than three dropdowns, but the AI will likely ignore the extra options. Because Agentic storefronts pull structured data directly from the Shopify Catalog via backend APIs, they bypass the front-end JavaScript that these apps use to inject line-item properties. As a result, customers will only see and check out using the native Shopify options. If your extra dropdowns are mandatory, this creates a risk of orders coming through missing crucial information.
Of course, that is all I can say from my point of view. My recommendation is to have at it yourself, see how it plays out.
