We’re a small florist business that handles all of our own deliveries. We’re looking for a simple way to take a photo of an item once it’s been delivered to a customer’s address, ideally with the option to include a short description, and then send that to the customer as proof of delivery.
Are there any similar businesses in the community that might be able to recommend a system they use or a workaround within Shopify? We’d really appreciate any suggestions—ideally something budget-friendly, as we’re a small business.
Hi, for a small florist business doing your own deliveries, a simple and budget-friendly solution would be using a mobile form app like Jotform or Google Forms to capture a photo and short delivery note at the time of drop-off. You can include customer name/order number fields, and once submitted, the form can trigger an email or SMS to the customer using Zapier or Make for automation. While Shopify itself doesn’t offer this natively, this workaround is widely used by small businesses and avoids the cost of full-scale delivery apps.

It lets you scan an order QR code, take a delivery photo, add a short note, and automatically update Shopify. It hooks into Shopify Flow, so you can power your own automations after the QR code is scanned. Scans and photos uploaded are also visible directly within Shopify admin, when viewing the order itself.
You can use Shopify order notes or tags in conjunction with a light delivery app such as EasyRoutes or Proof of Delivery by TrackiPal. These allow drivers to upload photos and brief notes directly to orders. Customers are automatically sent delivery confirmation emails, so everything stays documented and cost-effective without additional manual intervention.
I was looking for something similar but instead of photo upon delivery, we needed photo of the package contents before shipping, but the app I’m using can also work for delivery photos.
SnapPack, you can find it in the shopify app store. To make it work for deliveries you would have to change the text of the email template and then take a photo upon delivery instead of while fulfilling.
By default the email says “Your order was packed, here is your package photo”. Instead, change it to something like “Your package was delivered, here is the delivery photo”.
All I know is that 4Seller can handle confirming shipments, but I might miss sending emails at the time of delivery. Besides the comment section, are there any other recommendations? I’ll try them all.
