I have the Providence theme, and if someone adds something to their cart, then removes it and the cart is empty, a “Go Shopping” button appears and when clicked it directs the user to the All Products page. I want to change it so that it directs them to the home page.
The issue is the “Go Shopping” button is not the same as the “Continue Shopping” button. I was able to find the code for the “Continue Shopping” button in the main-cart.liquid file and was able to update the code so it redirects to the home page. I cannot for the life of me find where the code is for the “Go Shopping” button.
Has anyone run into this with the Providence theme?
In the very old copy of this theme I have this was in Language, under Cart->General: Empty HTML.
Could be they kept it the same way in your theme.
Otherwise it’s hard to tell without looking at the code.
It looks like they changed it since the older version. In case anyone runs into the same issue, the code can be found under Online Store->Edit Code->Locales->en.default.json (line no: 200). Just change it to:
