I have the same issue. How do we change the mapping?

I was able to get it to work. Go into Quickbooks. Cick on Lists/ Items List. In the search bar type in Shopify Received Items . Open up that Item and you can change the account mapping. Apparently the Shopify mapping does not seem to change for this item. This is the workaround that I figured out…

How did or to what did you change the account mapping to in QuickBooks?

I’ve done some tinkering with things along the lines you suggest, mainly with where payments of various types are deposited. I can’t find the item you are referring to. Could you maybe post a screen shot ? Thanks!

Go to the tab at the top of Quickbooks Desktop that says LIsts. Click on Item List. In the field that says Look For, type in Shopify Received Items. Change the Account Mapping

I changed the Account Mapping to an Inventory Asset account since that is where items that you run through the purchase order system that are being sold by your business should be recorded. A purchased good is an Inventoriable Item until you sell it, then once it is sold it is removed from Inventory…

It must be because you changed it, which is something I thought of. I do not have that account in my list.

Go into Quickbooks Desktop, got to Items then click on Shopify Received
Items and change the account mapping. Changing the account mapping in
Shopify is useless.
