Purchase prices

Hi. prices from the various suppliers such as AliExpress, do we pay the price everyone has access to or can you register to get lower purchase prices?

Hi,

In most cases, suppliers on platforms like AliExpress show the same public prices to all buyers. However, there are a few ways to get lower costs:

Volume discounts for larger orders.
Coupons, promotions, and store-specific discounts.
Negotiating directly with suppliers if you’re consistently ordering higher quantities.
Working with private agents or sourcing partners once your store reaches significant sales volume.

For new dropshippers and small stores, you’ll generally pay the publicly listed price. As your order volume grows, many suppliers become willing to offer better pricing, faster shipping options, or custom arrangements.

If you’re using Shopify and dropshipping, it’s worth contacting your best-performing suppliers directly once you start generating regular orders. That’s usually when the biggest savings become available.

try connecting with supplier directly and try negotiating the same

Hi, @ByAlex
Hope you are doing great!
Honestly, when you first sign up for AliExpress, you just see the standard retail prices everyone else does. To actually get lower rates, you have to message the suppliers directly, tell them you’re running a business, and ask for a hidden VIP link with a discount. If you want true wholesale prices right from the start, skip AliExpress entirely and look for the same suppliers on Alibaba.

Hi there Alex @ByAlex
On AliExpress you typically pay the public facing retail price displayed on the product page as most suppliers do not enable automatic wholesale tiering by default. One caveat is that some sellers do offer better pricing if you contact them directly, particularly for large volume orders or repeat business. You can also search for “Trade” listings or ask for a quotation via message. A further approach could be testing a few suppliers for your product, as prices and shipping can differ greatly among sellers, even for the same goods.
