In my Debut theme, the customer is able to enter a quantity of an item more than that is available in the stock.
I want to Restrict & Show an error to the customer when they enter more than available quantity to say “There are only {{variant.inventory_quantity }} left in stock, you can’t buy more than that”.
Also I need to edit the Error message below:
It’s a really a basic core functionality that Shopify should have provided; I have been researching for the resources and the only thread that I could find is this. But it does not works for websites with variants.
Will someone be kind enough to guide on How do I achieve the above, since a lot of merchants like myself are facing the same issue. I will be extremely thankful for this help.
