Query on accessing Webservices call from S4Hana via CPI

We do have a requirement where client is using S4HANA as ERP and requirement is to develop e-commerce via Shopify which could interact with S4HANA ERP using webservice

  1. Requirement is to push item details from S4HANA to Shopify inventory table as on when there is an update on Iteam addition / Pricing /Unit of Measurement or details of the item (Data push form S4HANA to Shopify)

Currently the webservice is written in S4HANA and it has CPI as connector, but can we use CPI to push data to Shopify

  1. Requirement is that when an order is placed via e-commerce site of Shopify, requirement is to call a Webservice avaiable on S4HANA with the details of cart which user selected via Shopify and same order need to be placed on S4HANA ERP as well and confirm the order only if a successful order confirmation is received form S4HANA ERP

Is it possible to have such level of integration if we select shopify for the e-commerce solution ?

Yes, you can use Shopify webhooks to confirm the order in both places. You may have to provide extra logic if you do not want to fulfill the order until it is confirmed in the S4Hana environment however.
