Hi! I am struggling to find a free personalization app or way to add only name personalization option. Are there any free apps that work for this? I keep seeing free trials, but I’m looking for just basic and free. Otherwise, is there a way to add the name personalization option without an app? Any helpful info appreciated! Thank you!

If you only need a simple personalization option for customers to enter a name (or other custom text), you can easily do this with Easify Product Options — no complex apps or coding required.
Here’s an example I’ve created so you can see how it works:

You just need to create a text box option (for example, “Name”). When customers enter their personalization details before adding the product to the cart, that information will be saved as part of the line item properties in the order, making it easy for you to review the customer’s request when fulfilling the order.
Additionally, you can limit the number of characters by enabling Character count and setting your preferred minimum and maximum values. You can also select Stop typing at max limit if you want customers to be unable to type beyond the maximum number of characters you set.
This setup is quick and simple — you just need to create the option in the app, assign it to your product, and test it on the storefront to start using it right away.
