Hi everyone,
Ahead of the AMA, we put together a short quick-start guide / cheatsheet to help merchants review their store data before asking questions.
The goal is to make the AMA more practical: instead of starting with a general question like “How do I know my profit?”, you can check a few key areas first and bring a more specific store-related question.
Refer to it here.
The cheatsheet covers:
- how to compare revenue vs. actual profit;
- what costs to include when reviewing profitability;
- how to check COGS, shipping, transaction fees, ad spend, and custom expenses;
- how to spot products or campaigns that generate sales but may have weak margins;
- example questions merchants can bring to the AMA.
A simple starting point is to review your last 30 days and check:
- Total sales
- Net profit
- Profit margin
- Total expenses
- COGS
- Shipping / fulfillment costs
- Ad spend
- Best-selling products
- Lowest-margin products
If something looks unclear, that would be a great question to bring to the AMA.
Hope this helps merchants prepare more hands-on questions for the session.
