Hi @Serenova ,
I’m Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App.
From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions for both stores as hereby:
- Have a favicon for your store
Whether you’re putting the final touches on your online store or it’s already up and running, don’t overlook the significance of adding a favicon! It’s a small yet crucial detail that can enhance your website’s appearance and reinforce your brand.
By including a favicon on your website, you can effectively communicate to your potential customers that they have arrived at your company’s page.
You can check this Shopify guide on how to add a favicon - https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon
If your website visitors are looking for a particular product while browsing, what’s the usual action they would take? They might have to scroll all the way up to the page’s top to find the search bar, which can be a bit of an inconvenience. However, this issue can be addressed by introducing a sticky header, significantly improving the ease of navigation for your customers.
Another thing you might care about is that the sticky header with the current logo might take significant space while scrolling. So I would like to suggest that you reduce the size of the logo to save more space to showcase the products.
Product color or material swatches enhance conversion rate by reducing the number of clicks for customers to find the product they want. The shorter and easier a customer’s path to the desired product is, the more likely they will make a purchase.
- Add more sections
- Benefit section: This section gives your customers a reason to purchase from you instead of the competition. This helps reduce the bounce rate and increase the likelihood of purchase.
- Testimonial - customer reviews: This section will help you build customers’ trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos. Here is a demo for you:
- Have a newsletter form: Having a newsletter on your site, customers can subscribe to their emails to receive product information, any sales campaign, etc from your store.
- Instagram feed: Your Instagram content adds a fresh feel to your website by showing you’re active online and interacting with your customers.
- About Us section: A business can stand out with its brand story as it provides more insight about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.
To determine if a product is suitable for dropshipping, consider the following factors:
Product Characteristics:
- Unique Selling Proposition (USP): Does the product offer a unique feature or benefit that sets it apart from competitors?
- Profit Margin: Can you achieve a reasonable profit margin after accounting for supplier costs, shipping fees, and other expenses?
- Shipping Weight and Dimensions: Lightweight and compact products are generally more cost-effective to ship.
- Durability: Consider the product’s durability and potential for damage during shipping.
- Customer Demand: Is there consistent demand for the product? Use tools like Google Trends to analyze search volume.
Supplier Reliability:
- Reliable Shipping: Does the supplier have a proven track record of timely and accurate shipping?
- Good Customer Service: Can the supplier efficiently handle customer inquiries and returns?
- Clear Product Information: Does the supplier provide detailed product descriptions and high-quality images?
Market Competition:
- Niche Market: Consider targeting a niche market with less competition.
- Competitive Pricing: Research your competitors’ pricing to ensure your products are competitively priced.
Additional Considerations:
- Scalability: Can you easily scale your business as demand grows?
- Customer Service: Be prepared to provide excellent customer service to build trust and loyalty.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop a strong marketing strategy to attract customers and drive sales.
And here are some general tips for evaluating its potential as a dropshipping product:
- Research the market: Analyze customer demand, competition, and pricing.
- Find a reliable supplier: Ensure they offer competitive pricing, fast shipping, and good customer service.
- Calculate your profit margin: Factor in supplier costs, shipping fees, and other expenses.
- Test the product: Consider purchasing a sample to assess its quality and potential for damage during shipping.
- Create a strong product listing: Write compelling product descriptions, use high-quality images, and highlight the product’s unique selling points.
And that’s my feedback! Hope it helps you boost the conversion rate.
Cheers!
