I appreciate the screenshot that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! By any chance, could you share your online store URL? As this will allow us to take a further look and explore your online store.
Here are a couple of suggestions to take into consideration how you can improve your online store speed:
- Disable app features you don’t use, or remove the app if you don’t need it.
- Use a heatmap tool to see if customers are using certain features. Disable features if they are not being used.
- Try and run the Shopify Theme Inspector for Chrome to identify the lines of code that are slowing down pages in your online store.
- Review the image optimization guide.

Using large images can cause slow load time, but the most common culprit is downloading too many applications. In some cases, app code can be left within a theme even if the application has been uninstalled which can cause issues like app code conflicting with the theme code. With that being said, you can download a fresh version of the theme, which will start a clean slate of code and will only include the code of currently installed applications.
My suggestion would be to reach out to our live support to have a further look into the setup of your online store. This will allow us to gather some additional context on which applications have been used on the online store. You can reach out to our live support by logging into your online store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner.
Once you successfully login, or select the option to Continue without logging in - you will be directed to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak directly with a Support Advisor about the online store speed.
