Hello, I just received an email titled ‘WHOIS Data Confirmation for ___(my website link)’ and it is very hard to predict what this means and why this email is sent to me when I didn’t make any changes on the domain setting.
Could I please gain more information on how to interpret this?

If you’ve recently purchased a domain, then WHOIS may contact you to verify your contact information and you can learn more about the verification of contact information that WHOIS or ICANN may be reaching out to you about. That being said, based on the title of the email, it looks like you may have already completed the verification and the email is a confirmation. We’d recommend reviewing the details in the confirmation email and make sure that your contact information is correct. If there’s any information that is incorrect, then you can follow our guide on editing your contact information for your Shopify-managed domain. If the information is correct, then no further action is required for the email.
