The likely scenario here is that somebody else accidentally entered the wrong phone number when signing up for Shop Pay.
Although you are receiving these codes, nobody can make a purchase using the code unless they receive it and input it at checkout. Though it’s annoying to receive these messages, people receiving Shop Pay codes do not have their information compromised. You are simply receiving these messages because another user accidentally entered the wrong phone number.
