Recurring payments with trial period not working as expected

Hey all,

I am looking for some help with recurring charges and trial periods.

I setup a recurring charge with a 30 day trial. When installing the app it showed the first billing date would be 30 days from now (8/2/24). However, when the email came through to say a recurring payment has been setup it said the first bill date will be 9/3/24 and within the billing area of the store I setup the trial on it says the next payment is 9/3/24

Why is the date different to what the approve subscription screen is showing?

have you found the solution? i got the same problem

no fix unfortunately. Hopefully they will now see this active again and come back with a solution.

I have a hunch its to do with how billing cycles work with Shopify and the point in time someone adds your app. However, I could be wrong.
