Redirecting to Blank Page After Receiving Shop Access

Hi everyone,

I was recently given access to a Shopify store by a client. However, when I try to register or log in using the link they sent me, it redirects me to a completely blank page.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? I’m not sure if it’s a permissions problem or something on the store’s side (e.g. settings, theme, or app conflict). I’ve tried clearing my cache and using different browsers, but the problem still persists.

Any suggestions on what might be causing this or how to resolve it? Please see the attached screenshot!

Thanks in advance!

Hello @chander_k87 ,

Ask the Client to Re-send the Staff Invite Link
– Ensure they go to Settings > Users and permissions and send a new invite to your email.

Try Logging in From Another Device
– Sometimes mobile or desktop versions behave differently.

Preview Theme on Another Storefront Page
– If it’s theme-related, ask the client to test the login/register page using an unpublished default theme (like Dawn) to isolate the issue.

Check Console Errors
– If you’re a developer, open the browser console (F12 > Console tab) on the blank page to look for JavaScript errors or failed requests.

If It’s Urgent

Ask your client to:

Temporarily give you full access via Shopify Partner Collaborator request (if applicable).

Test on their end whether other staff can log in — it’ll help rule out the issue.

Hi @chander_k87

Our support team members encountered a similar situation recently, and after our checking, the client who shared with you the store access may have shut down the store, and that is why it shows “Register” rather than “Login” blue font icon in the Shopify Partner page.

My suggestion here is to contact this client via social media platforms or emails to double confirm if he or she still needs your collaboration request, and check other stores to see if the store is still open. Thank you!
