I have a product that comes with multiple accessories. These accessories are products on their own. My requirement is to reference these accessories on the main product. With Shopify 2.0, I can finally work with Metafields without an app (hurray!).
I am trying to create a metafield (1 namespace, 1 key) of type reference so that I can select more than 1 accessory for a product. The default metafield definition is allowing me to select only 1 accessory/product per key. As per the Shopify help article, 1 key can be created to select multiple products (I hope I understood correctly):
Did anyone have this requirement and managed to find a solution?
p.s: I understand that I can create 1 key for each product/accessory under one namespace and use it. To me, that is creating more metafields and unnecessary maintenance (considering that I have other metafields to manage).
