Refund of 10 days is too long for customers.

I just got a complaint, customer orders and asks for refund as they made a mistake on part of their order.

So I processed a partial refund to Paypal express (used method of payment).

The email the customer got, then resulted in the complaint of

‘why should I now have to wait 10 days for wildflower seeds I bought 4 min ago’.

Here is the partial email sent to customer, I have to agree with the customer and I wasn’t aware in 7 years of using shopify that it took so long, why and can’t we get shopify to speed this up, it is as the customer says, unfair:

You have received a refund
Total amount refunded: £??? GBP. It may take up to 10 days for this refund to appear in your account.

When you issue a refund through Shopify Payments, the refunded amount is initially marked as Pending for up to 2 business days. During this time, the funds are processed back to your customer. However, it may take up to 10 business days for the refunded amount to be fully received by your customer, depending on their bank’s processing times.
