I recently closed my store, a customer contacted me for a refund of an item they ordered a month ago. How can I refund that order? It was paid using Shopify Payments. I can not see the admin console or the previous orders when I log in. Thanks
Since your store is closed, you likely don’t have access to the admin console, which means you can’t directly process refunds through Shopify anymore. However, if you still have access to the email associated with your Shopify Payments account, you can try logging into Shopify Payments directly and check for the transaction. If you can’t access it, reach out to Shopify Support – they should be able to help you process the refund manually
