First of all Shopify payments are not available in India and after that there is no third party support for showing local currency to the customer at the store visit..some apps are providing the local currency converter. But they don’t work properly and force the need to availing of Shopify payment portal which is not available in India, if you still use it the currency even shows in their local one but when they checkout the currency again gets converted to default set..I think it’s wrong.. shopify payments should be available in India and still if not available there should be no restriction for payment checkout set at only one currency..
