I am a citizen of the Asian country India currently based in that country.
I am intending to use my shopify.com account to process orders from customers located outside of the country India.
I got to know from the website of shopify (shopify.com) that in order to process international payments (i.e payments from customers located outside of the country India), there will be a transaction fees of 5% applicable on the orders processed.
May I please know what does this necessarily mean?
Does it necessarily mean that if a customer located in a country outside of the country India purchases a product offered through my shopify.com account, I will be charged 5% of the transaction fees from my Indian bank account which i use for processing orders on shopify.com account?
May I please know whether this rule is applicable on all orders that I get processed on my shopify.com account or only on some orders?
Also, may I please know what are the available methods of accepting payments from customers on my shopify.com account? Can the payments be processed by getting money credited directly to my Indian bank account or the payments have to processed by getting the money transferred from a 3rd party payment services provider and subsequently getting the money credited the money transferred to my bank account?
