Regional Pricing Setup for my Shopify Store

Hello,

I’m looking to set up regional pricing for my Shopify store and I could use your assistance. Currently, I’m able to offer different currencies for my international customers, but I don’t want the product prices to automatically adjust based on exchange rates when they select a different currency.

For example, when I want to sell a product for 1000₺, I want my customers to see a fixed price that I’ve set, instead of an automatic conversion like 28.58 Euros when they change their currency selection.

I’ve implemented a similar system using WordPress before, but I’m not familiar with how to achieve this on Shopify. Could you please help me with this? If it’s possible to implement this feature on Shopify, I would appreciate any guidance on how to do it.

Great question, and I’d be happy to help you out with this. These settings are contained within your “Markets” settings in your store admin. An important feature to note is that while customers can browse in their preferred currency they will only be able to checkout in the store’s default currency unless you are using Ayden or Shopify Payments as your store’s payment gateway. This is the limitation you may see noted in our Help Center: Shopify Help Center - Pricing in Local Currencies.

You will want to set up the different countries you wish to sell to in your market settings and then you can apply your manual conversion to the prices to keep them static.
