Reindexing Web Page for Google to pick up earlier

Hi,

I’m Kate - a CRO expert from PageFly Page Builder.

Reindexing Pages with Google Search Console

If you need to get your website’s pages re-indexed by Google, you can use Google Search Console. There are two ways to do this:

  • URL Inspection Tool: Submit individual URLs for reindexing. This is suitable for a small number of pages.
  • Sitemap: Upload your website’s sitemap file. This is a faster option for larger websites as it allows Google to discover all your pages at once.

Shopify and Sitemaps

If your website is built on Shopify, the platform automatically creates a sitemap containing all your store’s links. This sitemap typically follows the format store-url.com/sitemap.xml. You can submit this sitemap to Google Search Console for faster indexing.

Important Note:

  • Submitting URLs or a sitemap doesn’t guarantee immediate indexing. Google prioritizes high-quality content and may take time to process your request.
  • Monitor your website’s indexing status using Google Search Console’s Index Coverage report.

I hope this information helps!
