I want to release my Go Daddy domain from my old frozen & unwanted Shopify account, how do I do this? Please help
Hi @Peter102 releasing domain has nothing to do with Shopify you can log in to your Godaddy account and change the DNS records and provide the details of your new hosting

If you’re looking to connect your GoDaddy domain to a different platform, then you can simply update your DNS records on GoDaddy and point the domain to a different destination. As suggested by @arunme , you can do this without needing to release your domain from your deactivated/frozen account.
That being said, if you need Shopify to release a domain from an existing store, then it’s possible that you’re looking to connect your domain to another Shopify account. As a result, you could be running into an error message indicating that the domain is already connected to a store.
