Removal of Sale tag in Compare-At-Price

I have created a compare-at price for my products. As a result, the product display is showing a “Sale” tag. I want to remove/ edit this tag and write something else. I am not able to do it. Kindly advise on how to do it.

In your theme settings, click on “Edit default theme content”

Search for the text you want to edit, in this case “sale”

Then you should scroll down and find the Sale text under “Product → On sale”, edit this text to whatever you want.

The “Sale” tag appears due to the “compare-at price” feature. Here’s how to handle it:

  1. Edit Sale Badge Text (code editing):

    • Change the default text to your preference (e.g., “Compare at”).
    • Caution: Back up your theme before editing code.

  2. Use a Badge Customization App (more flexibility):

    • Offers control over badge text, style, and display conditions.

  3. Disable Automatic Badge (limited options):

    • Removes the badge completely but offers less customization.

Choose the option that best suits your needs and comfort level with code editing.
