Removing options from 'Sort By' from my Shopify pages

Hi,

I have a ‘Sort By’ filter on my page. I want to:

  1. change some options / remove some options
  2. Change the background colour of the dropdown

I have read numerous responses on similar forums but none have worked for me. I am using the spotlight theme.

Secondly, again, I have read on these forums but came across nothing that worked.

I have a main menu drawer and I want to change the colour of the ‘sale’ collection in the main menu to red, I can onyl seem to change it for all and not this individual collection title.

Any help appreciated.

I’ve managed to remove options and rename them, but I’d like to change the colour of the Sort By box.
