I have a problem with the Shopify checkout page. The phone number field shows up several times. It appears first in the contact section, then in local delivery, and finally in the billing address. To simplify the checkout I want to either:
- Remove the “Sender’s phone number” field from the checkout page entirely OR make it optional. (Under Local delivery)
- Ensure at the start “Contact” section instead of "email or phone number’ , the phone number is set to required . In Shopify, the contact field at checkout can be set to “email or phone number” or just “email.” This is why there are issues with phone numbers.
Is there any way to configure the checkout settings to achieve this? Any workarounds or solutions would be really helpful!
