I’m trying to get rid of the primary background (the black box) from the first picture so it looks like the second. I have both as a product information block. But, the first is on the landing / home page whereas the second one is a product page. Any ideas?

Sorry I didn’t see this on the product page, but on the homepage, you’re putting the wrong path of the image for the background, this will result in the image not showing up and the background being overlaid in black, you can consider replacing your photo.
