We’ve looking into switching to venture theme because it has good tag filtering options but we would like to have some collections only to be filtered while the others are not. Tried the enabling tag filtering option but that disables the tags for all the collections. Is there a way to make this happen or any snippet of code i can add? Thanks

If you are shopify 2.0 you can handle this by creating a custom collection page and enable a tempalte that uses the filter and another collection for a non filter.
Once you created those, go into your collections, and assign the ones you want to display with and without the filter.
