This is the accepted solution. I originally asked this question in 2019 when this option didn’t exist (it’s now 2024…finally resolved!)
Hello, I have the same issue and I figureit out just now, and I want to share this.
Go to Content>Files>and If the image in reference tab in just dash it means it is not used. you may now delete. Hope it helps.
