I have some items I have variants for and some items the supplier has variants for but I am only selling 1 version of the product.
Printful does it automatically no problem with hats for example, but Printify for some reason thinks I still want a variant selector for my one size fits most socks.
Why is there not an option in shopify to click “This product is not a variant”?
You can see on products without variants that it is set up in Shopify dashboard as 1 product. When you delete variant options “Size” “Medium” it will delete the “Variants” section in the shopify dashboard and you can then set it up as a single product by pasting the sku and selecting who manages inventory, problem is that doesn’t work.
It’s kind of frustrating and google tells me apparently no one else has this problem because everyone else has separate product pages for all their products with variants.
I just want to sell single variants of some products with their own product pages and other products with variants in their product pages.
Is there a solution?
