Hi everyone, why renaming local delivery to custom name is not working? Does it because of my plan is Basic? I want to rename local delivery to lalamove.
Shopify does not allow you to change the shipping option name for local delivery through the admin settings. That limitation applies regardless of your plan, Basic or otherwise.

Also, is it possible using 3rd party app that offers rules to rename shipping method though?
The only workaround that actually changes what customers see is going to Online Store > Themes > Edit languages and searching for “Local delivery” under the Checkout & system tab. You can swap the text there globally. Not perfect since it changes it everywhere not just for lalamove but its the closest.
Cant find any edit language at theme as you said
Go to Online Store > Themes > then click the 3 dots (more actions) next to your active theme and look for “Edit default theme content” or “Translate your theme”. Once inside just search for “Local delivery” in the search bar and you should find it there.
