Hi, when a customer receives and email that their product is ready to be downloaded etc, it comes through as “delivery@shopify.com”. On the front end of the shopping experience, the customer doesn’t know they are dealing with a Shopify platform. It could be confusing. It would be better to see the email come from the company brand instead. How can this be changed?
Shopify has recently updated their DMARC policy and CNAME records. If you haven’t updated this, your customer receives notifications from “shopify.com” email domain. Please see here further information: Shopify Help Center | Setting up your email
Thank you for your response. However, I do have the CNAME and DMARC files set up and the sender email works for the most part. It is when the customer gets notified about a download link that the "delivery@shopify.com" shows up in the inbox. I am attaching an image.
Were you able to fix this issue? I’m having the same concern
I have the same problem here.
The Digital Downloads App have this problem, the email is not being sent with the same address as all other shopify notifications.
I have a lot of customers complaining that they receive the order confirmation but they dont identify this delivery email (mine looks exaclty like your print scren there).
Another problem is that the download link is not available for the client in any other place! It’s absurd!
- The Liquid code from the Digial Downloads email does not work on the order confirmation email template…
- I can’t add the download link on the order page on the logged area…
Does anyone from the the Support team can help on this one?
