I bulk edited inventory to add “product types” but they still won’t show up in any of the reports. Anyone have answers on how to get this update to show up in any sales and inventory reports? Thank you!
Hi there,
Shopify’s reports are based on the product attributes at the time of sale. So if you update your products after the same, it won’t be reflected.
Our Report Toaster app can help. Our Sales by Product type template uses product values as of “now”, as opposed to time of sale. All of our sales reports allow you to use attributes from either time of sale or “now”. Please feel free to take a look and let us know if you have any questions.
