Hello Shopify Community,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m feeling quite frustrated and could really use some guidance. I have an LLC in the USA, but I’m a non-US resident. I’m new to Shopify dropshipping and, unfortunately, I mistakenly listed prohibited products (branded items). As a result, I received an email from Shopify stating that my account had been closed. I reached out to Shopify support, and they advised me to resolve the issue. However, when I created a new Shopify account and tried to attach Shopify Payments with the same details, my account was deactivated again. I received another email from Shopify about this issue.

I’ve thoroughly reviewed Shopify’s policies and made sure not to make any further mistakes. I am working within the legal framework and am keen to resolve this matter. Could someone kindly advise me on the next steps? Should I consider dissolving my LLC and creating a UK LTD, or should I look at other platforms? I’m quite disappointed and unsure of how to proceed.

Thank you for your help.

@Aminullah2005 I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re facing. Since Shopify has strict policies against listing prohibited items, your account deactivations are likely tied to the previous violations. If you’ve thoroughly reviewed the policies and want to continue with Shopify, it might be worth considering creating a new entity (like a UK LTD) with completely new details to avoid issues with Shopify Payments. Alternatively, exploring other platforms may also be a viable option if the situation doesn’t improve. Consulting with a legal advisor familiar with eCommerce regulations might also help guide your decision.
