I would like to add my company email as a BCC recipient to the Shopify gift card notification templates so that I can monitor and verify that gift cards are being sent properly.
I consulted a Shopify advisor and was told that adding a BCC requires coding, but since they are not experts in coding, they are trying to find alternative solutions.
I also asked a chatbot and received the following information: Shopify’s notification system does not natively support adding BCC recipients directly through the admin interface.
Possible workarounds include:
_Setting up a forwarding rule in the email client to automatically forward gift card notifications to the desired email address.
_Developing a custom app or script that listens for gift card creation events and sends a copy of the notification to the intended email.
