I’m reaching out regarding a device that was previously used by my brother while he was employed at Shopify. The laptop appears to still be managed under Shopify’s MDM (mobile device management) system, which is preventing me from using or resetting it.

Would you please help me unlock or remove the MDM profile from this device?

Hi there,

I’m so sorry for jumping on this but I’m in need of some help around this too. I bought this 2020 13inch MacBook Air for college second hand (technically third hand) and now I know why it was resold twice :woman_facepalming:t2:

Is there anything I can do to get the MDM off my laptop. I don’t have the funds to purchase another and I am desperate.

I just created this account to get some help.

Oh I forgot to mention, the reason I’m here is because it says ‘THIS MAC IS SUPERVISED AND MANAGED BY: SHOPIFY INC’

I’ve tried to do all I can myself but I’m getting nowhere.

Appreciate any and all help,

Amy
