Required field checkbox in product page - dawn theme

Hi - I am trying to make an edit to the main-product.liquid file to make the tick box a required field. I have the following code but I’m not sure how to edit it to make it mandatory (i.e. “Yes, I understand” has to be ticked in order to add to cart):

Yes, I understand.
