Suddenly this morning there was a reserved funds section on my payout dashboard on Shopify. The balance is 0 and I haven’t received an email or anything for reserved funds. Is this a new visual addition or is Shopify now going to start holding a portion of my payments? I’ve tried chatting with support but the “advisor” wouldn’t answer the question and just kept pasting text explaining for reserved funds are. I’ve had one order refunded in the last 3 months or about 1500 orders, so I don’t think I’d be considered risky for chargebacks.
Is this just a section on the dashboard for everyone now?
