Restrict A Shipping Rate Based On The Date/Time

Hi,

Does anyone know of a method where I can restrict particular shipping rates based on the date/time?

e.g Hide “Express Next Day Delivery” from 3 pm Friday to 12 am Sunday.

I know I have additional functionality on the checkout as we’re using Shopify Plus but wanted to know if anyone has come up with a solution for this issue.

In the dev docs I can see there is a limitation on adding time-based or random scripts to the checkout so this rules out any direct solution.

Just wondering if anyone knows of an app that does this or has previously used an app that can calculate the time and then connect to the checkout to restrict the shipping rates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can understand the need for this to clearly communicate the shipping options/ info. We have not built this exact function before but have built plenty of custom carrier service applications to add specific logic. This alone would be quite basic to implement.
