I am looking at the Shopify report for the number of a particular item that was returned during a specific time period.
Then when I go to the orders page and select that specific product during the same time period and filter it by refund, I am seeing a huge discrepancy. Does anyone know why this might be?
For context, some orders are processed as manual orders with a $0 value.
Hey, @WesQ ! We’d love to help you with this. Do you mind providing specific details of the discrepancy you’ve observed? Which report are you currently viewing, and what is the difference between the numbers?
Without seeing the details, the sis likely due to the date range. The first report is going to give returns that occurred during the date range provided. These are usually after the order has been placed.
The second screenshot is using the orders list, which is only filtered by the order date. This could be very different than the date of the return/refund.
